Twisted by visions of the true nature of reality, and calmed only by the knowledge that all things fade in the end, the harrowing destroyer is not merely a master combat. They use their skewed visions to see the weaknesses inherent in all things, and become capable of breaking their foes morale and their armaments. A powerful harrowing destroyer can often win battles merely by drawing a weapon; often foes will flee instead of fight the obviously crazed person before them.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: None gained

Confidence Breaker (Ex): The carnage wrought by a harrowing destroyer is terrifying to behold. Whenever he destroys a foe’s weapon, shield, or armor with a successful sunder attempt, the destroyer items owner and all opponents within 60 feet of him are shaken for a number of rounds equal to his harrowing destroyer level. A successful Will save (DC 10 + harrowing destroyer level + Cha modifier) negates this effect. Creatures that are normally immune to fear whose HD are less than half his character level are still affected. Confidence breaker is a mind-affecting fear ability.

Greater Sunder: At 2nd level the harrowing destroyer gains the Greater Sunder feat as a bonus feat.

Hand of Despair: Harrowing destroyers are masters of fear. At 3nd level and higher, they gain a +2 insight bonus on intimidate checks and saves against fear effects. They can also attempt to demoralize an opponent as a move action instead of a standard action. If the harrowing destroyer has the Favored enemy class feature, he can add his favored enemy bonus to intimidate checks made to demoralize foes of the chosen type (and subtype, if applicable).

Shatterer (Su): At 4rd level, a harrowing destroyer learns the secret to shattering items. He gains a bonus equal to half his harrowing destroyer level on the CMB roll and for the damage dealt during sunder attempts. This bonus also applies to strength checks made to break objects.

Confidence Destroyer (Ex): Starting at 5th level, if a harrowing destroyer destroys a foe’s weapon or shield with a successful sunder attempt and deals enough damage with a melee attack to drop the owner (typically by reducing it to below 0 hit points or by killing it), all enemies within 60 feet of him who can see the target become frightened for a number of rounds equal to his harrowing destroyer level. A successful Will save (DC 15 + harrowing destroyer level + Cha modifier) lessens the effect to shaken. Creatures that are normally immune to fear whose HD are less than his character level are still affected. Confidence destroyer is a mind-affecting fear ability.

Words of Dread (Ex): At 6th level and higher, they gain a +2 insight bonus on intimidate checks and saves against fear effects. They can also attempt to demoralize an opponent as a swift action instead of a standard action. This bonus stacks with the bonus from hand of despair.

Frightful Presence (Ex): At 7th level, a harrowing destroyer can provoke fear with his mere essence. This ability takes effect whenever he attacks or charges. Foes within 30 feet with less HD than his character level are frightened for a number of rounds equal to his harrowing destroyer level. A successful Will save (DC 20 + harrowing destroyer level + Cha modifier) is immune to that harrowing destroyer’s frightful presence for 24 hours. At 9th level the range increases to 60 feet and creatures affected are panicked instead of frightened. Frightful presence is a mind-affecting fear ability.

Gaze of Terror (Ex): At 8th level and higher, they gain a +2 insight bonus on intimidate checks and saves against fear effects. They can also attempt to demoralize an opponent as a free action instead of a standard action. This bonus stacks with the bonus from hand of despair and words of dread. If an opponent is not demoralized by this ability the harrowing destroyer must wait a round before they attempt to demoralize them again.

Destroy Everything(Ex): At 10th level a harrowing destroyer learns how to destroy everything in reach. Once per day as full-round action, a harrowing destroyer may take a full attack action (sunder attempts only) and still move up to his speed.
